John's early bands toured throughout Texas but, had little more to sustain themselves than guitars and fiery ambition. Sometimes a man has to loose himself before he can find his true self. And John dove head first into the process of loosing himself. While attending college, he delved into eastern mysticism and narrowly escaped the clutches of a cult. Finally, he returned to Chico, married his childhood sweetheart Sandee, and started a Bible study group. This was the first small step on a life long walk with Christ that grows daily for John, Sandee, and their six children. After moving to Nashville, John's talent as a songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, and performer became evident. He recorded the critically acclaimed CD titled "Sunny Day" and hit the road supporting Petra. John presented himself for what he is; a man in love with God and family, possessing a timeless musical and artistic sensibility. The audiences respond to his heartfelt performances and open, honest ministry.
