Set for release on 5th March, 'Lights' is the stunning debut single from London band Josh Beech & The Johns. This warm and heartfelt offering is a taster of what's to come from the talented four-piece who will release their first full length this forthcoming summer. Building on a gentle and sincere opening 'Lights' perfectly showcases the band's ability to construct and deliver beautiful songs that subtly combine elements of pop, rock & folk with a unique contemporary feel. The sound is pure and the structure is simple, highlighting the mesmerizing power of Josh's voice. Josh's passion has always first and foremost been music, but he is also an extremely successful model and his reputation and status in the fashion world and dedication and prowess in front of a microphone are a unique and exciting combination. After releasing his debut acoustic EP 'Burnt Out' in the Summer of 2010 Josh decided to make his touring band of John Turnham (drums,) John Martinelli (bass) full time, releasing their first EP together as a band titled 'She' in April 2011, later adding Gulli Gunnarsson (keyboards) to the line up. With successful tours of Europe and America already under their belts and with a worldwide fan base already solid and growing it seems the right time for the band to release their first material as a four-piece The Bromley born boys play The Old Blue Last on 5th March to launch their debut single. It's clear that these are currently standing on a threshold of an intriguing musical future.
