Following the release late last year of his debut EP ‘Islands’, the interest in this young man has been building, with airplay on Radio Two and festivals lining up for the Summer. Recently Josh has been working with cellist and vocalist Squiff Wordsworth, descendant of poet William! The pair visited Jersey in April to play a few songs and can't wait to return in July when they'll be joined by fellow band member Charlie Gradon flying in from Australia. Josh loves many types of music but his biggest inspiration comes from the records of Paul Simon, Neil Young and Bob Dylan and his latest recordings find him heading back to a more raw, emotional and bluesy sound. With a fresh and innovative approach to music, Josh Flowers and his collaborators are a fresh, exciting hotpot of creation, making music that has a lyrically driven energy with well established roots.
