Kaleko Urdangak is a Oi! band from Bardulia, Basque Country, formed in early 2011. It all started like a joke between the members of the oi-punk radio show "Kaleko Mobida", with Moto in bass, Ekaitz in drums, Biru with the guitar and singing all together. Once they saw they had a nice sound, they took the band more seriously and recluted Beñat as singer. They continued rehearsing during the summer, and they decide to record their first album in August, called "Eman Bai!". It was recorded in Northern Drunkens studio, with Aitor "Apurtu" as technician. This album, wich is going to be published in LP, has 7 hard-hitting skinhead rock'n'roll hits and it has to be published in Christmas 2011. Kaleko Urdangak is definitly a skinhead band, done by skins for skins. The songs speak about our culture, violence, drinking, history and personal matters, and are sang in basque, spanish and english. The name "Kaleko Urdangak" literally means "bitches of the street" but urdanga is also refered to the female pig, making a mixture of decadence and pigs, wich sounds really funny. It is also a joke with the radio programs name "kaleko mobida" that means "movement of the street". Finally, after playing some shows in Gipuzkoa, the LP/CD "Eman Bai" was published in March 2012, and it is sold in all Basque Country, Madrid, Barcelona... The labels that have participated in the edition are Erronka Records, Teletetxo Records, Skizo Diskak, Petruska Records and Riot Kids.
