Award-winning 25-year-old musician and filmmaker Kid Mac from Sydney, has started making waves in the world’s biggest entertainment market. Kid Mac recently returned to Australia following a whirlwind tour of the US where he rubbed shoulders with some of the film and entertainment industry’s biggest names. Following the performance, he was approached by the X-Dance film festival founders, saying they would love to have him back next year to perform again. “While I was there I also got to meet RZA from the Wu Tang Clan – he’s one of American's most renowned hip hop artists and has been one of my musical inspirations for many years.” He also spent much of the year in the studio and writing, working with producers such as Jamie Holt from Sydney rock band The Camels, Tony Wall (Kanye West, Kiss, Olivia Newton Johns, Jimmy Barns). Kid Mac has been confirmed as the opening act for Mickey Avalon on his Australian tour. The Hollywood heavyweight is best know for his smash hits 'The Jane Fonda', 'Mr Right' and many more. Kid Mac’s NEW single ‘Showtime’ (digitally available February 21st) is an infectious tune, with Taj Burrows World Champion Surfer making a Guest appearance in the 'Showtime' video! Kid Mac has co-produced 2 tracks with RZA at Sydney's Studio 301 and has plans of working together again in the near future!
