Kindest of Thieves is the alias of terminal songwriter, creative chameleon, eccentric (bordering on misanthropic) musician and Warrington (NW England) native, Chris Fox. Blending poignant lyrics with elements of traditional pop song writing and with a large emphasis on all things retro, Kindest of Thieve’s brand of Pop music isn’t something to miss out on. Influenced by song writers such as Morrissey, Nick Cave, Robert Smith and Richard Hawley, Fox is fascinated with blending the bleak with the beautiful. Entering the studio on the last Saturday in July 2012, Fox completed a 7 track album “Serial Mothers and Terminal Hunchbacks”, tracking and mixing in just 7 hours. Lo-Fi, honest and leaving the songs vulnerable and exposed, Kindest of Thieves present this humbling offering to you.
