Komon is the solo project of Swedish born Antonia Pehrson, who has made music under that name since 2001 following the purchase of a GEM Wizard electric organ. The music is electronic, vocal and emotional. In 2001, the music was inspired by organ based bands but after becoming increasingly interested in c86, twee and indie pop music, the purchase of an electric guitar and a cheap effect pedal created the guitar sound appearing on most of Komons songs. Pehrsons growing knowledge in programming computer based music has enabled her to produce more intricate beats than the first recordings where she used standard Casio drum pattern. Though she still goes back and sample the Casio sounds on the recordings from 2007.
