Kone is the solo electronic music project of Phil Western, a Vancouver-born musician who is active in ambient, electronic, experimental, electronica and instrumental hip-hop. Western, born in 1971 and died in 2019, also works under the aliases Floatpoint, Off And Gone and Frozen Rabbit, and appears in projects with cEvin Key, including Download and Plateau.
