Koxbox is a psychedelic trance act from Denmark, known for their complex soundscapes, filled with futuristic sounds, samples and sharp funky basslines. Koxbox consists of Frank Kiehn Madsen (aka Frank'E) only. Another member, Peter Candy left the group in 1998, and Ian Johannson (aka Ian Ion), left in 2003 but rejoined the group in 2006 for the album U-Turn. After several singles on German label Harthouse, their first album Forever After firmly established the trio in the scene. They were later recruited by the label Blue Room. On Blue Room they released a number of singles and the seminal Dragon Tales album in 1997. Their next album The Great Unknown was finally released in 2000. The latest album U-Turn, released in September 2006 on Twisted Records, sees Frank'E and Ian Ion back, this time with a number of collaborators on the various tracks. The members of Koxbox have also released under the names Psychopod and Saiko-pod.
