Kyuss Lives! is the most recent incarnation of the influential stoner rock band Kyuss, The original line up disbanded in late 1995, with members all going on to form new bands. In early 2010, John Garcia, original Kyuss lead vocalist, headed out on a European tour under the name Garcia plays Kyuss. Throughout the rest of 2010, Garcia Plays Kyuss continued to play shows across the globe, featuring Kyuss members Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork. In November 2010, Garcia, Oliveri and Bjork announced a reunion tour under the moniker Kyuss Lives! The band has enlisted Arsenal guitarist Bruno Fevery to fill in for the absent Josh Homme. In reference to the new band name, Garcia stated that "there is never going to be a Kyuss without Josh Homme" and that "hopefully in the future him and I can get together and do some writing." In August 2012 the courts ruled that Garcia and Bjork could not release any recordings, studio or live, under the Kyuss Lives! moniker. Whilst they were allowed to continue using the moniker for live shows, the judge stated that they may face future issues in the future and that "it may be in Defendants' best interest to begin re-branding under a new name" In november 2012 the band announced that they will change their name to Vista Chino. http://www.kyusslives.com
