It began in August 2011. Little Switzerland consists of four like minded musicians playing original music with a range of genres; Indie, Pop, Reggae and Rock. The band debut took place at the prestigious ‘Hull Freedom Festival’. Following the success of their debut gig Little Switzerland have featured on the BBC Introducing Live Sets and supported the likes of; Mystery Jets, The Beat, Alt-J, Dog is Dead and The Kabeedies. The band have been followed closely by the local newspaper and received lots of coverage for their Double-Single release of ‘How We Met/Chit Chat’. The band received further attention after their triumph at the North Lincolnshire Rock Open BOTB. With more studio time pencilled in Little Switzerland now plan on perfecting their sound by trying out new ideas and are never afraid to delve into different musical genres. Little Switzerland are constantly writing and gigging whilst maintaining an active role on the local music scene.
