There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Little Victories has been making instrumental music in the vein of Faust, Neu, Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and the like since 2003. A combination of melody, driving bass, rhythmic beats, and guitars with an array of effects has come to define their sound, but nothing is ever off limits. They have had the opportunity to play Northsix in Williamsburg Brooklyn, sharing the stage with fellow post punk prog rockers The Big Sleep and Wilderness, and have entertained radio listeners in the New York/New Jersey area and around the world with a live set on legendary radio station WFMU. They are currently putting the finishing touches on their debut LP at Bill Laswell's Orange Sounds in West Orange, NJ. Their 5 song EP, "From the Forthcoming Album LV" is available on their myspace page and through many online stores, including amazon.com and itunes. They are a bunch of regular guys trying to make a little noise who believe that you should take life day by day and enjoy the small accomplishments.
