Lloyd Daniels (born 14 December 1992), was the youngest act in the sixth series of The X-Factor. He comes from Wales and, in his first audition in Cardiff, Cheryl Cole described him as "the first person to actually have the X Factor this year". Cheryl proceeded to select Lloyd as one of her top 3 finalists in her Boys category. He began the live shows by performing fairly consistently despite some questionable song choices by Cheryl Cole. He was first voted into the bottom two in week 4, against Rachel Adedeji. Despite suffering from a bad throat, Lloyd fought through, singing a version of 'You Are So Beautiful' and managed to win a place in the next round. His popularity regained the following week when the public got behind him and voted him through. Generally, Lloyd received a mix bag of comments whilst on the show, with feedback ranging from looking like a popstar and having his best vocal performance in week five, to having song choices criticized, told he's out of his depth and that his confidence needs to be boosted. Lloyd recieved the lowest number of votes by the public in Week 8 and therefore was eliminated from the competition, with there being no bottom two and judges choice, finishing in a respectable fifth place, just missing out on the Semi-Finals.
