At least two bands are named Lobster: 1) Lobster are 64 all-mighty power rangers that got tired of crime fighting in early 2004. Live, Lobster is mainly composed by the drum set (Ricardo Martins), the e-guitar (Guilherme Canhão) and anything else that may join the party in this electric sonic discharge headed to your ears with the goal of transforming you to a John Travolta on the dancefloor. The first full-length album is called "Sexually Transmitted Electricity" and is out on Bor-Land/Rock It. Other releases include the "Fast Seafood" EP on the portuguese netlabel Merzbau, the split CD with Veados com Fome on Lovers & Lollypops and the split CD with Debut! on Merzbau. 2) Reggae and hip-hop influenced punk band from Birmingham, UK, formed in 2009. Have toured extensively in the Midlands and made a few excursions further afield. DIY EP 'Not For a Cause' released in 2012 to positive feedback, radio play and coverage in publications such as Do The Dog Skazine. Debut album 'Babby inna Babylon' to be released 1/6/2013, sticking to the DIY ethos. Sharing stages with The Beat, Subhumans and Zion Train as well as current UK acts like Too Spicy, Mr Shankly and Popes of Chilitown.
