Lost Colours is a two piece acoustic/alternative band from Co. Kildare, Ireland. The band mixes the lighter side of modern alternative music with the relaxed sounds of acoustic guitar and piano, adding plenty of 'food for thought' lyrics. Lost Colours formed in late 2009 -consisting of Dónal O'Sullivan (Guitar/Vocals) and Fran O'Connor (Keyboard/Vocals)- and performed their first set in The Sugarclub, Leeson St. Dublin. From there, they continued to write music together and play at venues across North Kildare/Dublin. In early 2010, they recorded their debut 7-track E.P. 'Coffee, Songs + Cigarettes' which was released as a CD on the 5th of April and then on iTunes by the 21st of June. They continued to steadily build a strong fan base throughout Ireland, primarily in the Dublin/Kildare region, and soon achieved airplay across Dublin to great praise. Currently the band is focusing on acquiring gigs and writing material for the coming 2010/2011 academic year. They hope to record a new EP/Album before long, and as things stand, drums may yet be added to the Lost Colours sound! www.myspace.com/lostcolours www.facebook.com/lostcolours www.twitter.com/Lost_Colours
