Lost In Colour formed in spring 2009, with having their first ever single ‘Stay Awake Tonight’ recorded and released on MySpace, which in a short space of time hit plays past the 100,000 mark. With this being such a success for the band, they went on to pursue bigger better things, whilst getting themselves featured in magazines such as FRONT and Ourzone. Later that year they released their second single ‘Searching for the Sun in the Dark’ and filmed a music video for the B-side track ‘+354’ which acquired the band a fair amount of online exposure. The band then returned to the studio to record their debut EP titled ‘Wastelands’. In support of this, the band embarked on to two UK tours, one being a headline O2 academy tour, which lead on to many of the venues selling out. Along the way, they have played some well-valued support slots along bands such as Example, Glassjaw, Gallows, Mallory Knox, Of Mice and Men, The Elijah and many more. The band then later signed to MC9 Records. After losing members at the end of 2011, they went on a hiatus. They are now back and stronger than ever with new members and a new sound, having played their first show to a sold out crowd in support of Morning Parade. The band are set to tour ‘Wastelands’ one last time before heading back to the studio to record their upcoming EP, set for release in 2013.
