Formed in the spring of 2008, Lost in Stereo recorded their first EP with sound engineer Mike Davidson at WERS Studios (at Emerson College) after winning a local contest. This self-titiled single included two songs: 'Kali' and 'If It Hurts' - which can be streamed/downloaded at the following sites: http://www.myspace.com/lostinstereomusic http://www.noisehead.com/mypage/lostinstereo http://www.ilike.com/artist/Lost+In+Stereo http://www.reverbnation.com/lostinstereo In the summer of 2009 the band headed back into the studio with audio engineer Pete deGraaf to begin work on their first full length album "Black Tie Galaxie" set to release in early 2010. Things took a hard turn when bassist Jason Deffenbaugh left in December. With two more shows added and a new bassist the band continued mixing the album, rehearsing, and looked toward the future. Due to internal issues and differences Lost in Stereo disbanded in early January of 2010, leaving the album in limbo. On April 11th 2010, Ian, Shaun, and Jason returned to the studio with Pete deGraaf to continue work on 'Black Tie Galaxie' The album wasn't entirely completed but several studio mixes were posted in September to the following sites: http://www.youtube.com/lostinstereo, http://www.ilike.com/artist/Lost+In+Stereo, and www.reverbnation.com/thevelvetants
