Low Duo are two brothers from Sheffield who write darkly emotive minimalist guitar music, with just one voice and one musical instrument. Since forming in August 2010 Low Duo have had many accolades including The Guardian 'new band of the day', PRS new band of the week and new artist of the day on the front page of Myspace. They have recorded a live session for Tom Robinson on BBC 6Music (available for free download when you join their monthly newsletter), had airplay from Steve Lamacq on 6Music and John Kennedy and Eddy Temple-Morris on XFM and enjoyed outstanding reviews from the likes of The Fly, Drowned in Sound and on the UK and international blogosphere. Closer to home, Low Duo have been praised for creating “the most beautiful body of music to come out of Sheffield in this generation.”
