Lowri Evans is a Bi-lingual Welsh Singer/Songwriter from Pembrokeshire West Wales. Famous in Wales for her meaningful lyrics, and her Welsh CD releases "Clyw Sibrydion (Hear Whispers)" in 2006 and "Dim Da Maria (Not at Maria's)" in 2008 both released on the RASP label part of Fflach (www.fflach.co.uk). The beauty of her songs can still be appreciated, even if you can't understand the Welsh language. Lowri performs regularly in venues across Wales and has made numerous Welsh TV and Radio appearances. Log on to www.youtube.com/only1lee to watch some of these TV appearances. In 2008 Lowri's song "Ti a Fi (You and Me)" came 2nd in the national competition Can i Gymru (Song for Wales). She released a Christmas single "Dagre yn yr Eira (tears in the Snow)" in December 2008. Lowri released her first English language album "Kick the Sand" in 2007, tracks from this album have been played on Radio stations as far and wide as Australia and The USA. Lowri has played many festivals accross the UK in support of the album and has done support slots for the likes of Richie Havens, Cara Dillon, Jim Moray, Jez Lowe to name a few.
