Lucas Alexander is a singer with classical opera training who moves between rock, blues, avant-garde and heavy metal. His work spans a wide range of musical styles, and he performs with a symphonic rock and metal band as well as with his own solo band, which has eight members.

He records solo material and works on a solo album, while also having a large body of new songs prepared for that project. Earlier in his career, his first record release comes through his contribution to an album by German singer Nina Hagen. He also records a 20-song duet album with Hagen, who is his former wife, and performs with her live internationally.
