Lyoness is an independent Industrial/Alternative Pop band formed in Monterrey, Mexico in 2006 (previously named Versus), with the original lineup consisting of college mates Hugo Diem on vocals and guitars, Enrique Benítez on drums, David García on bass, and Be Flores on guitars. When David left the band to pursue a career on music in Los Angeles, Versus was left with three members, as Be became the new bass player and Hugo was left with all the guitar parts. While playing for a year and a half with this lineup, Hugo spent his free time producing other young bands in his home studio. One of these bands was Betavox, in which Rafael Cárdenas was the lead guitarist. Rafael knew Be, as they studied a music minor and played several shows and recitals together. When Betavox split, Be suggested Hugo and Enrique that Rafael joined the band in the lead guitar role, forming the final lineup as of today and changing the final name to Lyoness. Hugo, since then, is focused on vocals and sequence programming, while Be stays as the bass and keyboard player. Since then, Lyoness has played shows across northern Mexico and US cities like Austin, Texas. Free tracks can be downloaded at their official website, http://lyoness.ly
