Make Them Suffer is an Australian symphonic deathcore/metalcore band from Perth, currently signed to Rise Records. The group is currently made up of: Sean Harmanis (vocals), Nick McLernon (guitar, backing vocals), Jaya Jeffery (bass), Jordan Mather (drums), and Alex Reade (vocals, keyboards). Their debut album, Neverbloom, peaked at No. 56 on the ARIA Album charts in June 2012, while its follow up, Old Souls, debuted at No. 30 upon release in May 2015. After the band signed with Rise, the label released an expanded version of Old Souls in August 2016, containing also the EP Lord of Woe (originally self-released in 2010) and a new track, "Ether". On 9 June 2017, it was announced that Chris Arias-Real, Lachlan Monty, and Louisa Burton were no longer in the band. Jaya Jeffery was announced as the new bassist and Booka Nile was announced as keyboardist/clean vocals. In 2020, keyboardist, clean vocalist Booka Nile took time away from the band during COVID-19 to appear on the eighth season of Married At First Sight Australia. On February 24th, 2022 the band announced via their Twitter that Booka Nile was no longer a member of the band. On October 10th 2022, Alex Reade (Drown this City) was announced as the new keyboardist/vocalist.
