Since 2005, with a distinctive style that not only honors tradition but also infuses it with a bright modern sensibility, Mama Roux is defining this new music with a healthy dose of irreverence, passion and flair. The three female singers and two male musicians use double bass, piano and accordion to great effect creating a joyful and theatrical performance that connects with everyone regardless of their nationality.
