Pirate rockin' acoustic troubador! marbled, acoustic songwriter from the North Eastern parts of England. High slung guitar like a chip on the shoulder, throttling out the last breath of each couplet lyric like it might be the last. Punching all the loose notes into a tight melody and performing songs of style ranging from flawed folk to cordened in riot scenes. Sung and strung in stream of conscious tongues, deftly pick pocketed ideas others too lazily executed, then moulding each one into a jack in the box of ideas and originality. Here in their delivery some surprise and please you, others alarm and offend you, though most make you think you know what's coming and when it does, you are still surprised by how well it catches you out. While material was being written, honed and road tested in York, marbled has supported Fionn Regan, John Power, Liam Frost, Pete Doherty, GlasVegas, Howard Elliott Payne, David Ford and Jack Penate. Plan 'B' is to produce as many EPs as possible over the next two years. Two EPs have been completed, the debut Milk Teeth EP and the sophmore Rodeo Falls EP. With two more in early stages of development and recording, a further three being scouted for the right producer and more besides waiting with the hook tight on the box. Plan 'A' was to get to where things stand now with all these songs and more.
