Biography: "I have been playing the guitar since an early age, firstly Classical, then moving onto Rock during the 80's and then to Flamenco in 2000. I have performed music on a regular basis, from a few solo Classical appearences at an early age, through a plethora of groups in the 80's and 90's (all styles, including blues, country, funk, rock and disco!) to solo, duo and trio Flamenco work today. Solo, and as part of a group I have performed in Australia, Germany, France, Greece and its islands, and all over the UK, encompassing a wide variety of venues from hotels to concert halls. Among the many perforamamce highlights are a charity concert at Cornwall Collesium, Ashton Court Festival 2003, New Years eve in Australia, busking in France and a duo performance in Truro with Jon Salfield. I have recorded and produced 3 solo CDs, containing a mixture of Classical, Flamenco and original material, encompassing Latin, Egyptian, Indian and Australian influences, and also ambient pieces, using additional keyboards and percussion instrumentation alongside the guitar." Styles and influences: "Live, I like to provide a good mix of musical styles, so that everyone will hopefully appreciate some of the pieces I play. My repertoire varies from Classical guitar standards, such as Romance and Asturias, through interpretations of contemporary music, including many songs from the Beatles, to lively and percussive Flamenco standards, often delicately incorporating hints of Arabic and Latin influences."
