Masturbation goes cloud is a band based in Athens,Greece. Formed by Charalambos Theocharis (bass) and George Kintonis (drums). Their music is instrumental, minimal, monotonous and psychedelic and could be considered as math rock or kraut rock .They have many influences from bands like stereolab, broadcast, dianogah, ganger, ui, neu!, spectrum, spacemen 3, Steve Reich and others. Using a custom and not very common instrument, a 6 string bass (looks like a baritone guitar but sounds like a bass) and a loop pedal, they create simple and repetitive motifs followed by drums and a few synths,. Someone has characterized their music as "autistic rock",because of the repetitive motifs.
