There are several artists named Matt Robinson. 1. Matt is an actor/ musician, best known for his role as the iconic bounty hunter Slade in the cult sci fi smash "The Tribe". Matt appeared in 52 episodes which aired on Channel 5 in 2003. Matt also works extensively in theatre, corporate roleplay and voiceover. He is the singer and pianist with the british rock group Last Picture Show. In 2004, Matt’s day job as an actor found him performing a solo set of LPS material at a US convention and a year later the band were invited to appear at Atlanta’s “DragonCon” event. Although the band had played a handful of intimate gigs in their hometown of Reading, the band now found themselves performing to a capacity crowd of 4,000 people. In 2006 the band returned to DragonCon to promote the release of their debut album "Against The Current ",reminiscent of U2 and Coldplay's most anthemic moments, In 2008 the band recruited permanent drummer Gareth Cooper .The 3-piece returned to the studio to record the “Breaking The Cages EP”, which was released in early 2011. Matt's solo EP , "Awakenings", was released later in 2011. 2. Matt Robinson is a solo singer-songwriter orginally from the North East of England. His style tends towards the classic rock, but more often that not his albums contain a multitude of different genre. He has an international following and is a performer on many instruments. His third solo effort "Master Of Harmony" is his most commerical and widely accepted release to date.
