Their sound is folky, alternative acustic rock. The band base - singer-songwriters Mano (Mano McLaughlin - vocals, guitars) and Ben (Ben Downs - vocals, guitars) started in 2005. Recently (2009), Meadow has grown in size with the addition of Andrew Melchior (keys, backing vocals), Daniel Jones (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Tim Thomas (drums, backing vocals). They had a few live performances in Manchester and London, and supported Elbow at numerous venues, including Brixton Academy and their Christams party at The Roadhouse.
