Midday Committee are a four piece Pop/Punk band from the Portsmouth on the south coast of England. At the start of 2011 Rich pulled in Kurtis Maiden (drums) and his cousin William Cahill (vocals, lead guitar) after a previous band hung up their instruments. Leaving the least desirable place (bass) to be filled by a close friend, Adam Hall. May 2011 saw Midday Committee play there first show. Hailing from Portsmouth it wasn't long before the band were traveling to the neighboring, music crazed, city of Southampton. Within the year MC had also played shows in both Bournemouth and London. Whilst gaining some much valued road experience the group had also booked into a local studio, "Envy Studios" to record their first EP. "Good Kids, Bad Judge Of Character" was released in September 2011. The four track EP was self released, self funded and the results had satisfied the group. Happy with their sound MC focused on playing some shows, landing opening roles to bands such as Kids Can't Fly, Mallory Knox, Attention Thieves and Verses. The ambition and drive to get a truly "clear" and "professional" recording came shortly after Midday Committee started playing with touring artists. Looking up to bands is not something to be frowned upon, just seeing what could be achieved by creating a quality product guided MC in the making of their latest record. Band Members: Rich Sanders, Will Cahill, Adam Hall, Kurtis Maiden
