Moonquake were a club rock-styled trio from Montreal, Canada. They started out as a backing group for Michel Pagliaro before becoming their own band in 1973. Their first album under the label Gamma was Moonquake, which was released in 1974. They signed to Aquarius in 1975 and released their second and final album, Star Struck. They disbanded in 1976. The group consisted of Havaness Hagopian on guitar, synthesizer, and vocals, Jack August on Bass Guitar and lead vocals, and Derek Kendrick on drums.
