There are multiple artists with this name:
1) Mushy is a solo experimental electronic project based in Rome, Italy. Among the head figures of the industrial music scene renewal, Valentina Fanigliulo uses the medium of musical expression in order to produce soundscapes which open the door to strangely nightmarish illuminations. The sound architecture is a mixture of loops, burgeoning analog drones, tempestuous noises, spectral chants which rise at the surface. Mushy's musical adventure might appeal to fans of early "kosmische" synth wizards, cinematic ambient soundscapes, synthpop futurism and post-nuclear industrial noises.
The recordings sessions started back in 2003 with the release of the first opus "Analitica dell'immaginazione", published on Cold Current Prod. With dexterity, this first essay musically translates the deep and resonating obsessions of the divided, atomized ego. The following years will be fruitful in term of creation and involvement into various projects. In 2009, the signature for the label FinalMusik will mark a decisive turn with the publication of several unreleased materials gathered for the album "Superfetazione" (FinalMusik, 2009) and an appearance for the compilation "Program Vol. 1" (FinalMusik, 2009). "Superfetazione" confirms the musical path taken by "Analitica dell'immaginazione" but improves on the territories of an organic music which admits an agency of cinematic effects, impulsive vocals, convoluted improvisations and flexuous sound waves.
Mushy released "Faded Heart" in 2011 and "Breathless" in 2012.

2) Mushy is a metalcore band from Estonia. A crew of guys who grew up in a small seaside town. Long days on the streets bored the guys and when some got to the band scene through hard work, others had their own, more convenient sources to reach the pleasuring sweet sound of metal music. After trying out with different musicians, the five guys found each other and the chemistry between them grew into Mushy.
The boys were still boys and working together was easy as hell- with the first year every single band competition brought Mushy a success with winning every one of them. After that success there was nothing to do except wait for someone, but it wasn't that easy. So depression kicked in: moving around the country for schools and other reasons, playing in side projects split the band basically up (having them rehearse for only a few hours in a whole year), but still they wouldn't give up. Music is still being made, and everyone gives his own piece for completing the whole of Mushy.
At this time right now, the guys are taking it slow and waiting the right moment to come out of nowhere again and take a chance to make the crowds go loco. Old school rock scene influenced polyrhythmic riffs with a crunchy blues touch mixed with some hardcore screams and melodic vocals. Everything adds up to a hardcore knockout scene in their moshpit.
