Born in Shepherds Bush and growing up around North West London, Nathan Mercado started playing piano at 6 years of age. Being completely self taught, Nathan gradually improved his piano-playing which, he says: "Is just as well 'cos like my vocal chords it was pretty rough to begin with." A career musician, Nathan has been gigging four or five shows per week and taking in a wide variety of venues ranging from local London gigs to entertaining Our Boys and the Coallition Forces over in Kosovo, fashion shows for the likes of Diesel and Ben Sherman and just about everything in between.
