New Walk, aka Taylor Burton was born in 1998 in to a very musical family. His passion for music was clear at the early age of 7, when he started to learn the piano and began to understand the basics of music theory. As he got older his passion for music grew stronger and he started to join bands, playing keyboards and electronics. He eventually started to discover artists like Flux Pavilion, Gemini, Nero, James Blake, Chase And Status and many others which totally changed the way he thought about music. Now realising that a new genre of music was evolving, he wanted to know more. At the age of 12, he was given a MacBook with Logic Pro to borrow. As soon as he opened the program it was as if his future career was certain. Now 14, producing a variety of genres including dubstep, drum and bass and electro house Taylor has found what kind of music is suited to him and DJs it live. He has had support from DJs such as Mistajam, DJ Target and Twin B and radio plays on stations such as Radio 1. With multiple releases coming out, the future looks bright for New Walk.
