NitroVille is a female fronted, Blues driven, Hardrock band from London. Born in a barn in Shoreditch in early 2010 by vocalist Tola Lamont and guitarist Kurt Michael Boeck. Both shared a vision on how pure and unfiltered Rock ‘n’ Roll should sound and started writing for live shows and their album Can’t Stop What’s Comin’, combining lyrical story-telling with solid rock musicianship. From Denmark, Fussi Andersen joined the band later that year to underpin Kurt Michael Boeck’s Texan guitar style with hard driving bass lines and harmonies. The last member to join, was drummer Cyro Zuzi from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Cyro was a clear match with his versatile style of Latin feel and hard rock drive. After spending six months creating a powerful and distinctive sound, NitroVille produced an eleven track album with renowned producer Mark Waterman (Ride, Smashing Pumpkins) at London’s Fortress Studios (Biffy Clyro, Nickleback, Therapy). Following the completion of recording, Cyro Zuzi moved on to pursue other career goals and NitroVille were joined by new band member, heavy hitting hard rock drummer, Matt Whittington. NitroVille doesn’t rely on heavy post production and effects, instead, the band delivers a rough on the edges and impulsive Hardrock with no frills.
