Polar is a name of at least seven artists:
[1] A Guildford, UK, hardcore / metalcore band (aka Polar.), which formed toward the end of 2009. Members include: Adam Woodford (vocals), Fabian Lomas (guitar), Max O'Neill (guitar), Rick Keenan (bass) and Nick Jones (drums). They débuted with EP This Polar Noise (Feb 2011, A Wolf At Your Door), followed by album Iron Lungs (May 2012, A Wolf At Your Door). Their latest is single "Inspire Create Destroy" (May 2013, self-release).
They have gigged their hardcore punk / rock n roll fusion nationwide, leaving a lasting impression on audiences, with their vicious and exhilarating live shows.

[2] A pseudonym of electronic / electronic music artist Kjetil Dale Sagstad (b. Meland, Norway - aka Jeff Dam and K). The project débuted with EP 37° C. and Falling (Aug 1999, Certificate 18), followed by double-A "Biosfear / Implants" (Nov 1999, Certificate 18). The latest album is In The End (Dec 2008, Warm Communications - Jun 2009, with additional tracks), and track "High Voltage (Seba Remix)" (Dec 2009, Warm Communications).
Sagstad grew up, in Meland, with former musical partner Teebee. Together they started Subtitles Recordings, which Teebee now runs by himself. He currently lives in San Francisco.

Releases include: "Begins the frigid night" (1997), "A Future History Of The Frigid Polar Night" (1998), "Lies Set By The Polar Mob" (1998), "A letter for the stars" (2002) and "Comes with a smile" (2004). Later Moss and Ballinger continued as Con Dolore.
