Rachel Furner is a 17 year old future pop sensation from the UK who has been singing ‘since she could talk’, playing piano from the age of 6 and writing her own songs from 11 years old. She was raised in a small house where her bedroom doubled as a mini recording studio for her father. She would often lie awake into the early hours listening to him recording and playing music from a range of artists like Stevie Wonder, Kate Bush and Carol King. Sheer dedication to her music has seen her playing regular gigs in the most unlikely of places for the last year and a half. Rachel signed to Mercury records at the end of 2008 and is currently recording her debut album. Rachel recently supported Pixie Lott at her album launch party.
