Redpersona is a rock band based in Cumbria, North West England and was forged in november of 2006 in a freezing cold barn out in the long grass. The band have since gigged in just about every pub in this part of the county since 2007 including events such as the Maryport Blues Festival for the past 2 years and a few other rock festivals in the area.
Members
Redpersona is 'Steveho' on vocals, 'Edge' on guitar 'John T' on the drums and 'George' on the bass making up the four.
Direction
Initially the band started off with a setlist consisting of mainly rock covers to play around the pubs in the area and as the bookings came in the setlist grew along with it. More obscure songs were chosen in favour of the usual pub set stuff but as the number of covers increased the philosophy took a stage dive and after approx 2-3 years of gigging, the time came to move on which is what they are doing.
From the start the main influences had been blues rock and heavy rock based music which is the direction the band are heading in.
Present
Everything from previous chapters has been left at the border as the list has been wiped clean. The band are currently writing new material. Redpersona will now be playing more of what they like rather than what is expected. Hopefully theres other people that like it too.
A bluer shade of Redpersona should be coming to make a different kind of racket possibly in a venue near you very soon.

The band after playing in the tent at Valentine rock @4pm on sat 25th sept 2010 are now playing at re-session bar./level 2 on the fri 8th oct and have just announced that they will play at the brickyard at Carlisle on sat 23th oct where they will suipport the metal band Furk Uk.
