There are two artists under this name.
1.Regan (pronounced "ray-gun") started her musical career at the age of 14 as the lead singer of a popular Virginia band, based out of Richmond. As her musical talents evolved, she began reaching thousands of people with her own intoxicating original music. Even though she has been compared to the likes of Sheryl Crow, Edie Brickell, Rickie Lee Jones, and even Bjork, her acclaimed unique voice and incredible blend of rock, pop, and acoustic groove along with clever, and sometimes heart-wrenching lyrics, easily make her stand out on her own.
Her debut solo recording, "First Breath" (produced by Regan) was released in late September 2000. "First Breath" stayed in the No. 1 Top Selling CD (Pop/Rock) spot on MP3.com for over 12 weeks as well as reaching No.1 over the entire site numerous times. She has sold cd's in most states and countries through her incredible internet success.
Some of this internet success also led her to perform two sold-out shows in Germany and has sparked the interest of many in Europe. She has also done well with Garageband.com, the site created by Beatles producer, Sir George Martin. Her single "Today" (available on "First Breath") reached No.1 out of 70,000 songs in June 2001, and overall it's ranked No. 9.
Regan's second CD, Coming Or Going?, (released July 2002), combines incredibly strong songwriting, clever lyrics, and intense performances by some of the East Coast's most sought after musicians. This, along with national distribution through Red Eye Distribution has further proven Regan's undeniable talent and has helped increase her exposure across the country. Coming Or Going? was produced in part by Wayne Pooley & Doug Derryberry (both of Bruce Hornsby), Stewart Myers and features members of Agents Of Good Roots (two of whom are also featured on Jason Mraz's "Waiting For My Rocket To Come"), Bruce Hornsby Band, as well as Butch Taylor (Dave Matthews Band touring keyboardist).
2.regan (pronounced "reh-gun"), whose full name is Regan Graverson, is a singer/songwriter of Nashville. She released her EP, "Lone Lily," in 2008. Influences include Patty Griffin, Ryan Adams, and Gillian Welch. Visit regan's myspace at www.myspace.com/regang
