1) Reviver is an alternative/grunge band from Montreal, Canada. The band was formed in mid 2012 as a trio with Paul Korycki (Guitars/Vocals), Amirhassan Aliakbar (Bass) and Sacha Le Chene (Drums) but later in the early 2013 Mathieu Guimond (Guitars/Xylo) joined the band to complete the line up. After recording a few demos, Reviver is currently recording their first EP in Longueuil.
2) Reviver is an Salt Lake City hardcore punk band featuring members of the band cool your jets. The band is a touring Juggernaut. They released their first album versificator in july 08.
3) Dutch heavy metal band Reviver has been formed in 1997. First, Reviver concentrated on finding the right bandmembers and developping their typical style of heavy metal. During these early years there have been made several demo recordings. The track 'Cycles' of the 'Gates of Time'-promo contributed to the Metal Crusade 3 compilation of German metal magazine Heavy Oder Was.
Besides former bandmembers Fred Mantel and Tom Heemskerk (both guitars), the line-up is completed by drummer Tom van Veenhuijzen and ex-Montany members Patrick van Maurik (vocals) and Stefan Brederorde (bass). Together they have the most talented Reviver line-up so far. The high screaming vocals of Patrick perfectly fits with the thundering rhythm section and double guitar assault.
After releasing the promotional MCD 'Osiris Eyes' in 2004, the band was signed by German label Remedy Records. The first full lenght Reviver album will be released in March 2005. The recordings and mix are done in Steelworks Studio, Holland. The master of the album will be done by Piet Sielck (Iron Saviour) at Powerhouse Studio in Hamburg, Germany. The album sounds as a true Reviver album, heavy metal fans who like metal in the style of Crimson Glory and Iron Maiden will be pleased with this release.
Besides the studio album, Reviver concentrates on playing live regular. In the past, Reviver played as support for Helstar in Eindhoven and performed on festivals like Dokk-em Open Air (together with Hirax and Tygers of Pan Tang), Jamrock and the Heavy Metal Maniacs festivals in Holland and Germany.
In April 2006, even after the success that their debut album brought, Reviver breaks up as the band members find that their personal lives have started to unravel their professional ones.
