Richard Keogh was born in the Midlands in the United Kingdom in 1966. Forming his first band in the early 80`s, Dark Edge achieved local success and toured Germany for over a year, at one point securing the management and guidance of Horst Fascher, manager of the Star Club, Hamburg at the time of the Beatles. Returning to England , Richard formed KEO, released an album BURNING NEED ,as a 5 piece, then two further cd`s, ELEMENTS and AND SHE CRIES as a 3 piece with Richard on bass and vocals. As a 3 piece they had a sound described as U2 meets THE POLICE. Although long out of print a best of is soon to be released due to interest in his latest album , tentatively titled TREE OF DREAMS. Going solo and following his love of singer songwriters his music took an acoustic driven turn and he released the albums SONGS OF THE SPIRIT, TO THE SKY, THROUGH MISTS OF TIME, ALIVE and DREAMCATCHER, all of which are still available from www.angelman.co.uk. Local concerts secured healthy sales for his growing catalogue of folk/pop/roots songs and brought him to the attention of SEVAN SEVAN RECORDS, an indie label who released his current album WAKING DREAM on i tunes
