Richard Parker is an Australian techno producer and electronic composer who works mainly in dub techno, minimal and IDM. He has produced since 2002, using Apple computers and software alongside analogue hardware.

Releases and activity

His discography includes two internet-only releases, issued through Pinksilver and Shift Digital. He also gives semi-regular live PA performances at Minimal X-Posure.

Other projects

He is one half of Odessa Keys, a Perth techno project, alongside DJ Telaxu.

Namesakes

The name Richard Parker is also associated with other acts, including a 1970s producer and songwriter at Brunswick/Dakar Records, an instrumental band from Leeds made up of Michael, Benjamin, David and Dean, and a Samoan island-reggae singer who becomes popular across several Pacific islands from 2010.
