LOCAL LABEL "KDs" JUMPED IN AND BACKED US FOR A RELEASE OF THIS E.P. THEN NEWCASTLE'S "GENERATOR" CAME ON BOARD AND HELPED US WITH PROMOTION AND LOCAL SHOWCASE GIGS INCLUDING A HEADLINE SLOT FOR "CUMBRIA CREAM",WHICH GOT US A FANTASTIC REVIEW IN NATIONAL MAG "MAKING MUSIC". THINGS STARTED GETTING SERIOUS WHEN WE WERE CHOSEN TO PLAY AS PART OF RADIO ONE SOUND CITY AT NEWCASTLE,THIS EARNED US RADIO PLAYS OF "DIVE BOMBER" FROM STEVE LAMACQ AND THE LATE,GREAT JOHN PEEL. ANOTHER 5 TRACK DEMO "LIFE" WAS RECORDED AND WE WERE FLYING! ANOTHER NATIONAL TALENT CONTEST CHOSE US TO PERFORM AT NOTTINGHAMS ROCK CITY,EARNING US A GREAT NATIONAL REVIEW IN "MELODY MAKER" WE CONTINUED DOING LOCAL VENUES "MONROE's BAR AND THE RICHMOND HALL,AND EVEN PLAYED "CAIRO JACKS" IN LONDON AS PART OF AN A&R HUNT FOR UNSIGNED BANDS,AND "THE PACK HORSE" AT LEEDS,WITH SKA PUNK NUT CASES "THE DEAD PETS".
