This page is a bit mixed up as there is the producer Rogue State based in London and the band called Rogue State based in California 1- Having spent more than 10 years honing his production, DJ and MC skills through various different genres. The last few years have been spent working on the label, R8 Records which he co-owns and manages and dedicating his studio time to a unique fusion of dubstep and 4/4 beats. Always a fan of vocalists, plenty of heavyweight artists have passed through his studio including Top Cat, Daddy Freddy, YT and Bongo Chilli as well as plenty of local talents. Rogue has received airplay from BBC Radio 1, Radio 1xtra, Kiss Fm and more underground stations like Brooklyn Radio, Rinse FM and Sub.FM. With 8 vinyl releases under his belt and more on digital, Rogue’s forthcoming 12” releases include long established US label, Argon (arg0023), R8 Records (r8-005) and Bongo Chilli Records (Bongo003). You can catch Rogue DJin in his monthly residency at nationally acclaimed event Detonate/Dark Crystal at The Plug in Sheffield and other Dark Crystal events. The greatest testimony of Rogue’s current success has come from none other than hip-hop stalwarts, The Beastie Boys, who have credited his tune ‘Lion’s Paw’ as ‘our tour anthem’ and one of ten influences of their brand new LP, ‘Tadlock’s Glasses’. Adam Horowitz speaking in the current edition of Q Mag (April 2009, p22) went on describe Rogue’s track – ‘It’s dubstep with an old-school vibe. Our record has a bit of that.’ 2- Rogue State is a California-based Screamo band. Their records include 2003's "Statues that fall" and 2009's "Emic vs Etic.", as well as a split LP with Dogs of Ire.
