Biography Roisin O'Hagan is a 15 year old singer/songwriter in Chelmsford, Essex. The name is Irish and pronounced like the word 'machine' but with an 'r' instead of the 'm'. She plas guitar, piano and a bit of mandolin, guitar being her main instrument, and loves to write songs and perform them. She has been writing and singing for a while now but picked up the guitar in February 2012 (haven't put it down since!) and properly started gigging locally at the beginning of 2013. Now She is playing at gigs pretty much every week! She has also been recording various original songs at a professional studio in Suffolk, with producer/musician/friend David Booth, since January 2012. Most of these recordings are on her SoundCloud!: https://soundcloud.com/roisin-ohagan Highlights of her short time recording, playing and gigging so far include having been fortunate enough to have won a local award as 'Best Newcomer' on the local music scene, having written interviews for The Guardian and having written the soundtrack song for a young-adult novel named Crewel. Roisin really enjoys getting out and performing and has had the opportunity to play at many local festivals over the summer, which she loves whilst having fun playing at lots of gigs too, usually atleast once a week!
