Roosevelt Bandwagon is an Anglo-Canadian Americana collective of extremely experienced musicians based in London. They are renowned for superb, authentic, harmony- driven live performance and virtuoso musicianship. In the past members have toured and recorded internationally although, sticking true to the ideals of a collective, little biographical material has been made public. A full-length album release entitles 'The Canyon is on Fire' is set for release in Spring 2011. The collective will be appearing at the Acoustic Festival of Britain and the Rockfield Country Music Festival this summer. What people are saying: 'Their performances had a gloriously paced ebb and flow about them; the songs were at once fragile and anthemic and so memorable I found myself humming them days afterwards.' – (Joe Rivera, Americana UK) 'At times Roosevelt Bandwagon’s soaring harmonies recall those of Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris at their spell- binding best.' – Claudia Fitzgibbon, (Inside the Folkosphere magazine) 'This is a winning sound... we hear Dylan in the arrangements, and Arlo Guthrie in the lead voice... perfect mix of instruments, fantastic voice, and great lyrics!’ – Dan Joseph (Blueridge Express Radio Show, Canada) ‘Quite simply fabulous; genuine, real and deeply engaging.’ – Tim Wilkinson (House Concert Hub, UK) ‘...travels the road trodden by Walt Whitman, Jack London, Woody Guthrie, Bruce Springsteen and Ryan Adams’ – Chris Gair, (author of The American Counterculture) ‘This is very, very American music… like Dolly Parton and Bruce Springsteen eating each others faces in a dark corner of a tavern with sawdust on the floor’ – (Unpeeled Magazine)
