Run Toto Run is a Manchester, UK electropop trio: Rachael Kichenside (songwriter, front woman, lead vocals, drum pads, melodica), Mike Kelly (keyboards, backing vocals) & Matt Farthing (samples, drum pads, clever stuff, backing vocals - aka Kid Farthing). Formed late-2008, they quickly experienced success: playing their third gig at Glastonbury, achieving national radio play (before they’d played their first gig) & selected for the In The City 2008 showcase / conference (at only a few months old). They put out their first single in June 2009 and received press coverage from the Guardian and NME, radio play from BBC 6 Music, Radio 1 and XFM playlisting. They’ve been XFM’s artist in residence are getting live reviews from the likes of the NME and News of the World and have had hypemachine hits with various remixes and Passion Pit-cover "Sleepyhead", which reached the number one position, as well as gaining national radioplay. They’re currently working on a new album due out in mid 2010 and their second single "Catch My Breath" (Feb 2010), again gaining XFM playlisting and receiving play from Radio 1, 2, BBC 6, Galaxy and Absolute Radio and Topshop playlisting.
