Scratcha (aka DVA) is a Grime Producer from East London. He has been producing and DJing within the music industry since he left school in 1998. His former DJ name was 'Scratch', when he was mixing with D Double E, but, on Double's recommendation, changed his name to 'Scratcha'. Renowned as one of the most innovative producers in his scene, DVA has worked with and recorded vocals for 99% of the top UK urban acts. His most recent release entitled "The Voice of Grime Volume 1" featured 22 UK singing acts, a rarity in the instrumental dominated Grime genre. Independently released by him, the album attracted massive amounts of attention to his music and featured artists. "It was the first compilation of its kind so I got a lot of respect from it and a lot of other job offers came from it as well". The 26-year-old East London born musician is now currently working on his EP entitled "No Right Turn" which features some of the most respected underground rappers in the UK including Frisco, Chipmunk, Faction G and Ghetto He can be found presenting the 'Grimey Breakfast' show Monday to Friday from 8 to 11am GMT on London's leading underground station Rinse FM.
