Season of Ghosts is a spiritually groundbreaking, intergalactic music project, dedicated to the love for the unseen and film soundtracks. Combining massive riffs, harsh electronics and powerful, compelling vocals, through the eerie spectrum of a Sci-Fi, horror movie, Season of Ghosts has received enthusiastic reviews and critical acclaim for its pleasantly diverse sound and soul- awakening, motivational song meanings.
Conceived by singer-songwriter, Sophia Aslanides, in the heart of Tokyo, Japan, the project came to life in October 2013 and the highly anticipated debut concept album, “THE HUMAN PARADOX”, was released on the 8th of December 2014 worldwide by Coroner Records and the 8th of July 2015 in Japan by Howling Bull. Sophia is in charge of composition, lyrics and co-production and handles both melodic and distorted vocals in a unique, storytelling atmosphere. “THE HUMAN PARADOX” includes real orchestral sounds, recorded at Teatro Regio, Turin (IT), performed by members of the Millennium Orchestra.
One year after “THE HUMAN PARADOX“, Season of Ghosts released “REMIXING THE PARADOX“, on the 23rd of December 2015, as a free download, featuring remixes by popular electro acts, such as Neuroticfish, FrozenPlasma, Rotersand, FGFC820 and ZOMBIE SAM.
