The lead singer of the anti-folk band Dufus, Seth Faergolzia has also been known as Quankmeyer Faergoalzia. Seth has been a DIY musician for over 15 years, and has handled most of his own booking, promotion, management and album releases (though he's had some help from such friends and labels such as ROIR, NYC and Ironman Records, UK). As the mastermind behind Dufus, possibly the most creative and well-loved underground band in the anti-folk/freak-folk communities of New York City, as well as a likewise respected solo career, he has stacked up more than 10 albums and played in over 20 countries with such acts as The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jeffrey Lewis, Regina Spektor, The Moldy Peaches, Animal Collective and others. Today, Seth plays with Seth Faergolzia & the 23 Psaegz, an eclectic, semi-orchestral musical group based in Rochester, NY.
