The Shuffle brothers is an ever-changing Blues project band begun in 2006. Members of The Shuffle Bros. come from the NY/NJ local music scene. Core members of the group are Guitarist Nate Rudy and Vocalist Vico Sabbagh, life long band-mates going back to NYC music scene of the early 1990's. Current configuration also includes drummer Joe "Bonzo" Zebede, Bass player Morris "Cool Moe G" Gindi and Keyboardist Joe "Nascar" Nasar. All accomplished musicians in their own right, these players come together to form a blues quintet that is at times laid back and smooth and then rocking with the relentless ferocity of a steamroller. Seeing The Bros. live is when they really shine. Live performances range from soulful R&B, classic rock and blues and eclectic originals. Nate Rudy's guitar work is evocative of blues legends; Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, which give shape to the bands true nature, driving honest blues. Bonzo and Cool Moe provide the rock steady backbone and Nascar gives the additional support and color needed to allow Vico and Nate to present music guaranteed to inspire a dance, evoke a memory and ignite a crowd. Being always ready and willing to please a crowd, the Bros. are never shy of classic party tunes to get them and keep them on their feet. If you get the chance to see The Shuffle Brothers live, call your friends and neighbors and set aside the date and time. A great time will be had by all...and that includes the audience too!!!
